Well I guess these digital gauges will work, but, really I don’t think they would be appropriate or functional. It would be great if there was an analog version, with a needle, and a shift light, but I guess I am dreaming.

A good suggestion.
I recently used a fabricator to cut a piece of plexiglass for the insert on a hood mascot for my Volvo pv445. It looks as good as NOS (see photo).
I will continue to search for a replacement lens or replacement trafficator, to keep the car’s authenticity but, a good second choice would be to fabricate a lens.
