Brake pedal doesn’t return fully

The brake pedal of my 1977 GL does not return completely after being used, just the last 1 -2 cm. Therefore the brakelights continue to glow and the brakes are not fully released. The spring of the pedal (inside the interior) is still in place. I replaced the main brake cylinder with a new one, replaced the brake oil and bled the system. At least the car brakes better, but the pedal still not coming back as it should. Anyone an idea what to do next?
disconnect the servo pushrod from the pedal and check if the problem is in the servo or pedal bearing.
