Vårat första rally var lyckat och nu är det dags igen. Denna gången sker det i samarbete med VW-klubben Halmstad Luftkühlers. Vi träffas söndagen 8/9 kl 12 vid Shell utanför Falkenberg för en trevlig runda med mål vid Särdals kvarn.
Anmälan till saabhallandia@gmail.com eller på telefon 0708-852830 senast den 1/8.
Viktigt att tänka på att det krävs kartläsare förutom förare i bilen, knappast trafiksäkert att göra båda sakerna samtidigt.

A little update on the rally and a reminder that you must register by the 1st September. The start position has moved slightly to the Skrea Backe Restplats on the west side of exit 50. Shell is on the east side.
Much easier to gather and start the rally from here. I will be there from 11:00 with a drivers briefing at 11:30 and first car off on the rally at 12:00.
If you don’t want to take part in the actual rally but are interested in meeting up at the finish, there will be someone manning the finish at Särdals Kvarn from 13:00. Plenty of room to park and display the cars. The cafe is outstanding and their cakes well worth the drive.

The deadline to register for the Saab Hallandia Höst Rally has been extended to the 5th September. Current weather forecast for Sunday is looking good. Looking forward to meeting everyone on Sunday morning.
Intresset för söndagens rally är stort och nu behöver vi hjälp med tidtagningen. Är du anmäld men saknar kartläsare eller har avstått anmälan just av denna orsak så är detta är perfekt tillfälle att ändå kunna delta i en riktigt trevlig träff med många fina Saabar och Folkvagnar. Riktigt trevligt rally idag, vädret var underbart och likaså rutten som Gary lagt upp. VW gänget var mycket sympatiskt och villiga till både skitsnack och däckspark 😉 Tack för idag!
A big THANKS to all who took part in the rally and those who helped out, for me it was a perfect day and the best rally that I have planned. 17 cars in total took part in the rally with 3 extra cars at the finish.
I think it is safe to say that we had perfect weather and it was a fantastic place to end the rally.
The winner of the club diploma for the most cars taking part was easily the Halmstad Luftkuhlers with 12 VW’s taking part in the rally, and one at the finish, 5 Saab’s took part in the rally with 2 at the finish, so a big congratulation to Halmstad Luftkuhlers.But Saab did step up where it counts, overall winner, with 30 points and only 33 seconds from the ideal time, went to Per-Erik and Montana.
Prize for Best Time went to Henrik Arvedson and Eva Olsson, only 15 seconds from the ideal time, impressive.
Prize for best score on the questionnaire went to Fredrik and Erling Magnusson getting 10 out of 12 points.
Again, a big thanks to all for helping make it such a great day. Looking forward to setting up a few rallies for next year, we must try and win the club diploma back again.
