A mysterious Saab 99 "Long nose"

Our friend Roy has published a new collection of wall papers for the new year and especially calendars for January including a very strange red Saab 99 with a long nose .I’ve never seen that car before and wonder what’s her story ?
The background looks like a Saab workshop with a wall of wood cases and another Saab 99 or maybe the Saab Museum backstage ?.But what else ? If you had any idea of what is that special Saab 99 , don’t hesitate to give us more informations .Thank you and happy new year !! 🙂

A car such as that is shown in the book ”Saab bilarna de första 40 åren”. According to the text below the picture the 99 would have to be prolonged for future demands on safety and that the styling would be unacceptable.
I have information that this car have a V8 engine,

It belongs to the Saab Bil Museum collection and was made to respect the american safety rules .The boot could get deformed and protect the people inside the car .
