      Hej from Hamburg,

yes, I really would like to write in swedish language but my current studies in the folkhögskola are not yet sufficient enough to post my problem.
I’m owning a 96:a from 1964 which I changed to disk brakes from a V4 model. All went perfect a long time (2 years) but now the front brake on the right hand side is blocking.
Before I’ve put the car on the road again in 2007 I overhauled the master brake cylinder. Two years ago I installed the disk brakes and put in new brake hoses. I had to renew the hose on the rhs half a year ago because of small cracks.
Now the brake piston does not release after some braking and the wheel is getting hot. (The left hand side is still o.k.)
I then dismanteled the brake caliper completely, cleaned everything, put new gaskets in the brake cylinder and reassembled the brake caliper. The result was disappointing => no change.

Does anybody has a hint to solve the problem ?
Could the almost new brake hose be the truoblemaker ?

Tack sa mycket i förskott för hjälpen.

      Hej hej

        Hello,Peter

I think that you have to get off the brake hose first, and look if its open.

Also look on the brake pipe near the hose conecting if the hole is open.

It seams that the brake fluid is not going bank easy/fast enought.

          Tack Erikjan för svaret,
jag löste problemet genom att din och Hubbe’s (per telefon) hjälp.
          Smuts har blockerad broms ledningen.
          Bromsen fungerar bra igen.

          Hälsningar
          Peter
