      For those of you following, or wanting to follow, the Saab’s in the 1000cc Cup, the Falkenberg Classic is on the 13-15 September. The 13th is practice day with free entry to watch. Tickets for the 14th and 15th is 200 per day or you can get a weekend ticket for 300. You can find all the information on Falkenbergs Motorklubb website along with a link to the race program.

      Normally they have parking set aside for enthusiast cars by the grandstand at the start/finish line. Perfect place to have a gathering of Saab’s.

          I klass E kör Hasse Eklund utom tävlan på Falkenberg då han redan vunnit RHK-cupen totalt. Tusencupens klass E total är därmed öppen för Peter Nylén.

          I klass F är det 14 poängs skillnad mellan Jagerwall och mig. Varje heat seger ger 30p så chansen finns även om den är liten.

            That was definitely a magic weekend of racing. A lot of people there on Saturday and the weather was good, can’t say the same for Sunday, I was wet through to my socks when I got home, but well worth it. Took a lot of photographs and it will take a little time to get through them. Picked these two out after a quick look.

              Thank’s Gary.
              Unfortunately, it didn’t go my way.
              Lost some compression on two cylinders on Saturday and only made it to 10th place.
              ”Luckily” it was raining on Sunday and the two Austin 40 covered the racetrack with oil.
              It was really slippery so the loss of power was not as evident.
              Starting from 10th spot on Sundays grid I managed to reach 4th and hold on to second place overall in the 1000cc Cup ”championship”.

              Håkan Lidebjer did a really good performance and finished Sundays race in 5th.
              His softer rally setup and narrower tires suited the weather conditions perfect.

              If you have some more pictures of us (1000cc cup) I would be glad to put them on our website´s ”Bildgalleri”.

                  Anders: Congratulations on Second overall, would have been nice to see you at the top but you can’t always have what you want. I have a lot of photos from both races and will be going through them during the week, should have them sorted out by the weekend and will email them to you.

                    There are now a lot of photographs from the two days, the other photographers posted have some interesting shots. Well worth a visit if you are interested in the 1000cc Cup.
