I don’t know why but I wanted to join you here . I don’t why because I cannot speak and read swedish .A big frustration when you’re in love with Saabs 🙂
I’m writting you from France and my usual pseudo is Golfhunter on several Saab forums .I love to read , share , and discuss with other Saab friends .It’s an addiction .
I’ve grown up next to the swiss frontier and when I was a teenager I used to go the Geneva Motor Show .And I used to admire the 900 . That car was fascinating me .She was so appealing , different , classy and powerfull in the same time .It was an uncommon car which I could never see in the streets of my village in France .What is not a surprise because Saab arrived in France in 1984 .
So every year I was going on the Saab exposition in Geneva to see the 900 .The myth .I’ve never forgot this car and I’ve purchased my first Saab 900 Turbo in 1999 .Almost ten years ago , and the smell of the interior is still there and reminds me on each time I come aboard , the first day I drove her .Dream came true .
Since that time , I’ve discovered older Saabs like the 95V4 and the 96 which I own and love too .Vive le free wheel !
I’ve found on Blocket my 99 Combi -coupé in Lund for 2 years ago . I must say that she is my favorite with her automatic transmission .
I also own a 900 T8 M1981 and a 99 turbo which needs to be restored .
I want to say to you all that you have a huge chance to live in Sweden and to have the possibility to live your passion for Saab in Sweden .
The same way as if you were in love with Citroen and that you would register on a french Citroen forum. 😀
So I will come to see you from time to time for admiring your gorgeous Saabs and I’ll be happy like this .

Tack ! Yes I have photos of the 99T .The restoration has not began .I need to find parts before but I still don’t know what exactly .
About skying , just a precision : I hate ski but you can borrow me a Saab to go at the top of the mountains around here :console:

I forgot to mention that I have the pleasure and the honor to know Lennart Jaerenback who helps me to find parts …or cars lol .He has for example given me the contact of the guy who has sold me the 99T .

Glad for at se dig på det forum.Jeg skriver på dansk.Jeg kan bedre forstå Svensk end at skrive det.Jeg kommer fra Frankrig i Grenoble ,men flyttede til DK i 1974.
Jean-Francois (Jeff) mødte jeg i Lyngbyhed i 2006.Han var i København efter træffet og boede et par dage hos os.
Jeff var taget af sted fra Grenoble til Lyngbyhed med sin 95V4,uden at kende bilen og uden at have forstand på mekanik (det er blivet lidt bedre siden,nu ved han nok hvad en tændspole er for noget).
Siden har jeg været i Grenoble to gange ,og se Jeff hver gang.Den en gang var vi til en historisk vinter rally (winter drive),med ikke mindre end 6 V4.J’ecris en danois.Je comprends mieux le Suedois que je l’ecrit.Je viens de Grenoble en France ,mais j’habite au DK depuis 1974.
J’ai rencontre Jean-francois (jeff) a Lyngbyhed en 2006.Apres la reunion il etait chez nous quelques jours.
Jeff est parti en 95V4 de Grenoble a lyngbyhed,sans connaitre la voiture et sans connaitre la mecanique(maintenant je crois qu’il sais reconnaitre une bobine).
Depuis j’ai ete a Grenoble 2 fois, et vu Jeff a chaque foi.Nous avons ete a un rally historique ”winter Drive”,avec 6 sab 96 V4.
