Restoring an intake manifold

Not a Saab intake manifold but from my MG Midget.
The problem I am facing is the steel water pipes on either side of the manifold. They are very rusty and I am wondering if anyone on the forum has replaced this type of fitting and could give me an idea as to how to do it.
From the close up photograph you can see how badly rusted the pipe is. Any advice would be appreciated.
