Hi hopetter,

Did you test the condition of the battery of the car? With a low level battery sometimes strange electronic issues appear.
Other probabilty: if the warning lights of your Saab turn on automatically, there also could be a problem with the original Saab anti theft alarm system (if it is fitted of course).
