      If you look at the registration papers or at transportstyrelsen.se (check cars owned by others) there is a field called:

      Typgodkännandenummer:

      I looked at a 9000 -97 and it said:
      Typgodkännandenummer: e11*93/81*0006*03

      But for a 9000 -92 it was blank.

      If the ”number” starts with an e as e11 above, it has a european certificate.

      Note that this is mine thinking and not the absolute truth….. 😎
