Lite frågor:
Jag kör själv med en 99:a i grupp h(med förgasare), Hur har ni satt fast motorn i karossen, t.ex. fram finns ju ”lite” påfrestning.
Vad använder ni för oljepump till växellådan.

I fram är det 3 st motorfästen. Dvs standard är breddad på varje sida med en krafig alu bit. Orginal kudden är ersatt av 3 st hårda kuddar.
Pumpen på växellådan är en äldre historia. Vet ej fabrikat eller hållbarhet.
Det ska gå att använda en som finns på Biltema.
Sen har vissa exotiska bilar pump till bakaxel kylaren. Tex ngn Nissan.Niklas

Gillar att köra 99:a, ger rätt mkt uppmärksamhet, ska försöka utveckla den lite nu när rallysässongen är över här i Skåne!Hittade ingen bra bild. Ska leta rätt på en.
Man kan göra lite olika. Med dom bakre fästena.
Stumma alu bitar. Stumma alu bitar med gummi duk under.
En halv alu bit med en låg kudde.En annan men hårdare kudde.
Volvo valp kuddar. Dock är dom lägre. Är bra om motorn hamnar på samma läge i motorrummet.Niklas
Annars går ju hockeypuckar, han jag fick en 99T av som körde folkrace körde med det och det funkade tydligen :duck:

När det gäller fastsättning av aggreggatet så finns det en uppsjö gummielement inom industrin som kan användas.

AndersI think i understand this is about engine mounts for competition use?
Maybe my experience will give you some ideas without spending too much money.
For the two rear rubber mounts i have used Ford Escort MK2 competition engine mounts, these are very well made from a hard rubber, they are slightly lower than the original Saab mounts, but they work well and have been used on rally 99’s here in the UK for many years.They are 50mm high and cost £6 each or about 60SEK plus some postage here is the link http://www.rallydesign.co.uk/index.php?cPath=609_881_884The rear mounts are easy to fix, the front mount is where all of the problems can be, i am sure you guys already know this. The standard 99 front mount is no longer available new from Saab and because of my tuned engine i wanted something better to go with the uprated side mounts, so i had some discussions with my friend who is a very good engineer and also makes suspension parts through his own company for the Peugeot Cup cars plus many other rally cars, because my car would only be used on tarmac we decided for simplicity to work around the standard Saab front mount so it would be an easy replacement for anyone to carry out. The new mount has been on my road car for over 1 year without any problems.I had quite a few made. The aluminium is aircraft grade and the rubber mount is a 35mm Ford escort mount, it is in the above link. The thread on the rubber mount screws through into the aluminium and is then fastened with a nyloc nut, so it is very secure.
The new mounts i think are OK for tarmac only road/rally cars and maybe gravel/forest rallies, but the other problem is the sheet metal where the front mount fastens, this can split and fracture due to fatigue, fotunately my 99 shell is in very good condition and it has low miles, but on a competition car this area will need special attention, for the ultimate front mount obviously the Saab competition solution would be best and this is more complicated.
