önskas att hitta bilder från 83 – 85. Bilen är EZR 075 saab 99 EMS, Olas bil men körde av Kjell Olofsson och Christer Åkerlund. Tävlingar säkert South Swedish Rally 84 och Swedish Rally 84. Vita bil, blå stripes.

Homologated calibers for turbo says to be same as in Escort BDA, so these???

Hi,

There may be a problem with piston diameter. I have one set of the Volvo calipers in the shelf and seems that they are few mms wider than homologated. Also those are not bolt-on calibers, some changes have to be made to the fixing.

What homologatin are You using? For turbo cars also the AP ”boxing glove” calibers are homologated and they are competition calipers with reasonable pad diameters.

I found some time ago some old parts for 99 rally cars and there were also front hubs with ventilated discs and strenghened drive safts. Hubs are pre -81 models and disc is not same as the later ventilated Saab model. Diameters are around 20 mm thick 280 wide and they discs are installed above drive shaft plate not behind as the original disc in old hub. Do anyone know where are those from ?

I used original upper fixing point and welded new nut below the lower fixing. Now used around 500 km on ss and working fine.

Måste svara på engelska…

The hole at the top of the piston is 9 mm deep instead of normal 6,6 mm. Con rods are polished, balanced but original. At the clutch end of the camsaft is printed ” Z3″

Anyone familiar?

Om röda bilen i RAC ’80.Jag har frågat det också tidigare, men vet någon va färg var det?
