Fantastic customs! I hope they will inspire more in the Saab crowd to customize and lower Saabs, which for some reason is very unusual, at least in Sweden, campared to customs of for example Beetles.SAABoholic

Another update for you…
Everything back together after flatting and polishing.
Rear lights wired up with red LED brake and sidelights (the normal bulbs were slowly melting the lenses). Overiders ‘offered up’ to work out where to fit the tailgate cables (now done).
Just waiting for a new pair of shocks (after fitting these adapter plates) so I can fit the rear wings and then bumpers etc.
Fitted the screen yesterday – it was a tight fit before, so adding the aluminium insert made it even more interesting to fit!-

When i look at the paint-video it looks like You dont have the very best circumstances but when I am looking the pictures of the result it looks really good. That situation of Yours is much like mine so if it is possible to get such a good result in Your garage hopefully I will manage to do the same one day. Have You done a lot of painting ?
But I have some time to practice as my car is still far from ready to paint yet. The next mechanic-period ( read winter) I will continue and hopefully I will have the complete underside of the car done when the next spring arrives and its again time to “freewheel (??)”

I replied to your message before, but for some reason the reply did not show!?
I’ll try again… I would just say, make sure you put on loads of layers of paint, so even if it looks a little like orange peel, you can flat and polish it smooth.
I watched a lot of videos on you tube for guidance (I tried to add the links, but the forum won’t let me!) Look up ‘Trev’s Blog’ on you tube.

Well, we had some (read A LOT) of trouble with links in postings so one of the safety upgrades of the forum put some barriers to links.
I dont fully understand how that function works as some links work out just fine and others stops the complete posting.
Eventually we will find out and adjust it as sometimes the links will be handy.SAABoholic
